Dear friends,

Happy Norouz to you all! The Persian New Year is an ancient ritual acknowledging new light and energy source to cleanse much that we all carry in our hearts, psyche and are so concerned about. It's wonderful to be humbled by the seasonal beauty of our planet and never take it for granted.

"When there's there's life there's hope" Stephen Hawkings

Happy New Year!

My media stage production "The House is Black" had its world premiere at The Center for the Art of Performance at Royce Hall, UCLA in late Jan. For those of you interested in knowing more about the project, its brilliant cast of collaborators including Co-Director, Dramaturge Robert Egan , Composer Richard Horowitz, Lighting Designer Anne Militello (just to name a few) and would like to see some of the images from our Royce Hall premiere, please check out the production's web page.

Delighted to have one of my photographs from my #Robert Rauschenberg Residency period, recently exhibited at the Shulamit Gallery (Dawn of the Cold Season) in a very interesting exhibit at the National Academy Museum in NYC! NY friends, hope you can see the exhibit. Here's an interview about the exhibition, written by Gisele Regatao and Deborah Solomon, for NPR.
