Event: World premiere of Jan Kaczmarek’s "Oratorio 1956."
This year the city of Poznan celebrates Poland’s 50th anniversary of Poznan Revolution in 1956. The first rebellion of Polish people and first among European communist countries against communism. Many people were killed and many were tortured in prisons. Founded by Lech Walesa, 1956 was the beginning of Poland’s way to freedom, Solidarity and independence. The event will be attended by many European presidents and politicians.
